So in October we were able to travel to CA again. This time for a wedding and a reunion. Also a funeral for Ben.
First comes the Wedding. My beautiful friend Angela married her long time love in a beautiful and timeless spot in Downtown LA.
Thursday Morning I drove down to the Marvimon to meet the wedding party for a dress rehearsal. I was one of Angela's "Matron's of Honor."
We got done there and headed to the Hilton Checkers to check in to the Bridal Suite. Located on the top floor...
All us lucky girls were going to spend the night in the Suite. We then headed to lunch downtown and then off to get our nails done. Back to the hotel to get ready for the rehearsal dinner that Mike's parents had arranged at McCormick and Schmick, located at the base of the US Bank Building. In the picture of the hotel you can see the US building...so it was just a short walk to dinner.
Here we are in the lobby getting ready to walk to dinner looking fab!
It was a nice evening of good food and meeting new people. I had to give a speech which was a little nerve racking but it turned out just fine.

Doesn't Matron of Honor just sound like a name they would give you if you were in your senior years? Counldn't they think of a catchier name.
Sorry last post sounded weird. I'll try again. You know how people say sometimes couples look like they just 'go' together? So, if friends were described that way, it would be you two. You guys look beautiful.
Esther, my favorite part of your speech was telling Mike you would physically harm him if he ever hurt me. I don't think either of us have to worry there. :)
